Blue Badge parking permit

The Blue Badge Scheme (disabled parking permit) is for drivers or passengers with severe mobility problems. The scheme operates throughout the UK, and is administered by local authorities who deal with applications and issue badges.

Permit allows holders to park close to where they need to go, such as shops and public buildings. Blue Badge holders can also park free in some pay and display car parks and on single and double yellow lines in most streets for up to three hours.
